EASL (Emergency Artists’ Support League) was founded in 1992 to provide financial assistance to
Dallas/Fort Worth area visual artists who are in dire temporary distress because of an
unforeseen medical emergency or other catastrophic event. Contributed funds are held for
distribution by the Communities Foundation of Texas, Inc., Dallas, Texas.
